I am looking at getting a new cam for my car since its being built again. What do you guys think of a cam grind of: 283/293 adv dur, 231/239 dur @ 050 , 110 lsa, and lift of .583/.568 ?
Would i be going forward or backwards? My current cam is 230/236 .544/.554 110lsa w/ good ported heads , car ran very strong but want something more radical.

Im all for Elliott's port work, and if I was buying new I would definitely go to him but I have the chance to trade my cam for this cam. Its very similar to an le cam, but not identical. I think I should be okay. And as for the port work on heads, im not paying much for them to be ported and on a high school budget $1500 on a le2 setup is out of my reach right now.
