I think this is mainly going to be a vent, maybe a call out for help from some Florida members. As the title states I am feeling a bit overwhelmed with the formy. I feel like I haven't truly been able to enjoy the car since 2011 when I first swapped the engine. Since I got out of the army last year it seems like every time I turn around I am fighting with some new issue. I am just getting really frustrated, and I am getting a to a point where I find myself thinking about selling the car a lot more than I even thought I could. Its like I built a car well past my means..

best advice i can give you, is list out what you need to do to it. then tackle one thing at a time. and if your anything like me, plan what you are going to work on that day and stick to it. otherwise A.D.D. kicks in and you end up wasting more time bouncing between projects.
sounds stupid but that list will keep you motivated, specially when it starts getting shorter.
i ran into the same situation with mine... and it hasnt ran in like 6 years... but i plan on it running this summer.

Is there something that we can help you troubleshoot?

Blkchevyz is on to something.
Ive had to do it myself. Make a list of the issues and prioritize them. To give you an example, my T/A needs an alignment, a clutch, exhaust straightened up and rehung, window motors/regulators and my sub amp mounted and hidden. The alignment is most important, followed by the clutch, then the window motors.
Safety first, drivability, and then the trivial stuff.
Don't get too discouraged. Once you get the problems ironed out, it'll be well worth it. I had a ton of issues when I did my top end rebuild, but once I got it ironed out, I have gotten 70k miles worth of enjoyability.

Well when I first got out I worked my ass off and fixed 7 out of 8 codes, then I had my brake issues which is ongoing, which I cant figure out. Now ive been noticing a knock(which I am hoping is detonation) and my oil smelled like gas today. I am hoping that is just a mix on running rich and sitting for awhile. I the list idea is great. I might hang a whiteboard in the garage with a list. I just know that if it is a serious issue instead of something small I will most likely be parting out, I cant afford nor have the time or space for a major engine overhaul.

I've seen a lot of projects hit this plateau. Assuming it is nothing serious, just keep pushing through it. Every one you solve is one behind you and if fixed correctly, shouldn't be coming back. Good luck!

But with all the advice... get good oil in it. Gas saturated oil is not healthy...

Yes, I intend to. ASAP. I am also gonna check the plugs just incase. This website has been a goldmine of advice and guidance throughout my issues. I have learned an immense amount from the members over the years. I am going to keep at it, just needed to vent and get a bit of motivation. I NEVER want to have to get rid of this car.
