Awesome. Im curious on these plastic backed ones... thats the only reason Im not just recovering mine. If that plastic is nice... im gonna get one for the Camaro akso... even tho that one is still good.

i might try one of the plastic ones, i re covered my factory one, and it was a pain in the ass, backing kept crumbling... then after i was finished my wife sat a box on it and killed it .

The plastic ones are supposed to be non-sagging and not supposed to break down over time like the fiberboard ones do. Downside is they're heavier so keeping them firmly in place with the velcro is a little more difficult.
Once I get done with the engine stuff on my car and get to the interior, mine is getting replaced with a suede covered plastic board. Right now I hack jobbed black felt in place of the stock material that started coming down when I got it running a few years ago.

the board is not the problem the foam on the back of the fabric breaks down.i did my own all you have to do is just get the headliner board out of the car pull the fabric off then clean off the foam real good with some kind of broom/brush than you spray the back of the new headliner fabric and the roof board with some 3m spray adhesive total cost is like 45 bux it will last another 20 years....or you could pay someone
