Haha I feel your pain, man. Had to change out the crank position sensor on my 92 Lumina on Saturday. To do so, you have to take the front passenger wheel off, remove brake assembly, half shaft, alternator (which is on the bottom of the engine /facepalm), and alternator vent tube, then stick your whole arm in up to the shoulder through the hole the missing alternator creates to get to the damn sensor. Sunday I was pretty sore and tired. There are days I miss having a job that forces me to get up and move around regularly.

last project i had was replacing a transmission in my grand prix, gxp... v8, sideways... not fun at all... probably the reason i havent had the urge to touch the camaro in awhile.

Lol man, I bet that's just as cramped in the engine bay as my Lumina's 3.4L.

I had to do one in the 3.1 Malibu I had. I found the one behind the crank pulley easy once dropped the engine down like 6". Now the rear cps broke off in the block. Had to drop the rear engine mount, AC condenser, Oil Pan, windage try just to get a pick and pry bar in there to get the shitty plastic sensor out.
