So as the title stats I just got from my fiance a garteli 340 fuel pump and I was thinks what you guys are running with a nitrous set up and big turbo set ups

With nitrous AND turbo? Or one or the other?

Just trying to find out what people are using on both kinda setups looking into doing a turbo lt1 notch ;)

Dual Whalbros on factory rails and lines, AFPR, 84lb injectors, FAST XFI 2.0.

If you add another one to the mix, you will be good for awhile boost wise.

I am running a 255lph in tank, with a 255lph in-line...then a Low pressure dedicated fuel system (340lph) to feed the nitrous

Single Denso 280 lph driven at 18 volts past 5 psi with a Kenne-Bell Boost-a-pump.
Stock rails modified for dual feed and Aeromotive regulator.

Okay I'm trying to figure out if my new 340 pump will be strong enough to run a big cam and large 200 shot of nitrous

340 will do it no problemo . dedicated or you coming off the Schrader valve to the fuel solenoid?

I would not suggest running a 200 shot of the OE rails...can it be done yes...will you see a pressure drop to the instant fuel demand and lack of reserve volume, yes, resulting in a lean spike. All of the internal volume down stream of the fuel solenoid will have to be filled the instant the solenoid opens...pressure will drop as the single pump catches up.

How bad will it be? Won't know till you hit it and watch the A/F...its just not a risk I will take. You have the same situation with a dedicated but you don't lose fuel pressure to the injectors.

Solved that problem by running the stock rails in parallel (dry system - ALL the fuel through the rails). Supplies 800HP at the flywheel with no lean spike. Dual Bosch 205 LPH high pressure pumps through an SX billet filter, -6AN to the front of the car, splitting into a -6AN into the rear of each rail, 78 #/HR injectors at 4 bar (58psi), -6AN return welded to the front rail cross-over pipe, to a Weldon AFPR under the cowl, and a -6AN line back to the tank. One pump is in-tank in the stock sending unit, and second pump on a -10AN suction line off a sump at the rear of the stock tank (only runs when the nitrous is armed). The system was tested extensively on an engine dyno, while monitoring individual cylinders, and there was minimal variation in A/F ratio between the cylinders or on activation of the nitrous. The MoTeC ECU also monitors/logs EGT on #7. While the -6AN supply line may seem small, it is shown to minimize the pressure loss on high G launches, which can become a problem with larger diameter lines.

Have also seen an 1,125HP S/C LT1 application with basically the same setup (but larger injectors, -8AN supply line, separate -6AN returns off front of each rail) and the parallel stock rail setup.

We ran modified stock rails. -8 feed to each off a -10 supply and a -6 return. We didn't notice any delivery issues with 150 lb injectors. Pump wise we run a aeromotive eliminator on 16 vdc.

deleted for space savings.

this will not suffer from having to fill the empty fuel lines down stream of the fuel solenoid...but yes that method works great for most applications

Think I'll have issues feeding stock rails with 80 psi, a -10 feed, 8 split and a 6 return with a Weldon pump and a wet direct port :( guess back to drawing board for Gramps. Nah he'll be fine ;)

you have a much larger reserve volume so will it be an issue not likely, but you still have to fill the fuel side after the solenoid

Good. I need to put that turd Zohan on the trailer with his twin turbocharged turd T3...looking forward to getting my car out hasnt moved in 2 years

Just run a cable pump.

So I guess I should go with a stand alone it seems like I want the car to work so if I need to do that i will but the plain was to come off the sherator valve and run c16 in the car to help with the a/f so I guess time to keep ordering parts lol

Since it sort on this topic. How well do you think a Walbro 400 through stock lines and rails would do supporting a 150-200 shot off the schrader?

Let's get this topic back up and running since my motor is now being built. So if I run a stand alone system with a walbro 255lph on a 250 shot on c16 will that pump be enough just for my fuel side of the nitrous system

I dont see why it wouldnt from a standalone. The demand isnt nearly as high as it would be if you had it in the stock tank feeding motor + nitrous.

Mine Turbo, Dual walbro, GS 340 in tank, -10 Feed and -8 or -6 return ( I forgot which)
