So i just got in to doing hydro dipping as a part of my vinyl graphics business. Anyone else on here doing hydro dipping? figured it would be nice to have a thread to share tips and tricks with fellow dippers.

I've got a tank pump and heater. Just haven't the time to put it together yet. Talk to Larry or Sean about becoming a sponsor and you could make a boat load here. popo8 Fastbird
(That's weird, mentions don't mention if they are edited in)

Im in the process of building a tank but i have to put it on hold for a few weeks so i can fix the hearse.. most of my dip jobs have been small so far so a good sized plastic tote has sufficed. but i have some people wanting some big items dipped so i have to get this tank done asap. lol

I don't have time to build mine. But I need to. My key market will be dipping firearms and hunting equipment since I'm a dealer. I think I could pick up a little of extra work on auto parts but mostly firearms. The whole process fascinates me. You got any pics of your work?

I just love this stuff. Never ceases to amaze me. Well done. Do you base coat and clear coat everything or just prep and dip?

And here as well. I've sold guys youth model guns for their son/ daughter and rather than buy a new one, get it dipped for the next daughter/son. Gotta be careful dipping firearms though. By rights, its got to be transfered by a dealer when the received exchanges hands.

Does the hydrographics actually hold up well on a firearm? You guys done anything in a brushed aluminum look yet? I'd be curious to see how that turns out.......curious as in maybe a future paying customer, lol.

With all the plastic interior parts and people wanting a custom look. I've seen videos of the dipping, comes out looking very clean and clear. I'd be interested in the future of getting a few pieces dipped. Talk to popo8 about sponsorship with the forum, thats how all the ads that you see on here exist. I've used a few sponsors on this site and I've only been here a few months.

Ive been following it for some of the interior parts on the caddy since in GM's luxiours finish it comes off after 50k miles of use. I keep seeing the kits less than 100 bucks I could do it at home but havent pulled the trigger yet. Wonder how the gf would like Snow camo in the inside of the V!
