Well should probably start up a thread here for my mild "build" I guess you could call it lol!!
Here's my car...94 Z/28 6speed that's my daily driver during the spring & summer months.
27606
...will be adding these longtubes & y pipe I bought from CamaryZGuy on here...
27607
Then this will be getting wired & plumbed up, going to start off spraying a 100 shot...
27608
And for some good insurance the stock clutch is going out and will be putting in the new Spec 2+ clutch I picked up from 96LT1355Z28 (http://ltxtech.com/forums/member.php?25-96LT1355Z28) @ BDB racing
I also still plan to buy a Mallory 685 box.
I'll update once everything starts getting installed which should be soon since the weather is finally starting to warm up and our snow is working on getting melted away now. Plan to get the exhaust and clutch done first. Then once the clutch is broken in the nitrous will get setup and going to have it dyno tuned here in town by Excessive Autosports.

i often wonder why peps go with aggressive clutches especially on a D/D?there is a article in gm hightech where they do a build on a lt1 m6 formula and had trouble getting the clutch/trany feel right so they go to some t56 specialist shop in tenn i think, and they explain about how gm spec's the clutch so they go with that shop's recommendation's and love the results.it wasn't the puck style that mattered but the friction materiel.anyone else seen the story?i may need a clutch soon and was just wondering,i am asking here to stop SD94z from possibly making a mistake with that clutch selection.or i could be totally wrong......i look for the article later and post but i gotta roll now

Looking forward to the progress.
You ever think of doing some wheels on it.
I had a 95 the same color... put some C6 5 spokes on it (18s and 19s) and it looked AWESOME!

I consulted with 96LT1355Z28 (http://ltxtech.com/forums/member.php?25-96LT1355Z28) on what clutch he felt was the right one for my car, my planned mods, and my future goals with it. It will see more than a 100 shot... I can promise you that ;)

Seriously thought about doing wheels...blacked out C5 vette rims actually....BUT since I'm a newly single father of 2 (long story) I set a budget for what i was going to spend on my car this spring and honestly I'd rather go faster than look better right now.

the stock clutch will take some abuse, but launching with a sticky tire its not going to last long. regarding the style, the ones with pucks normally are a better friction material, so they dont need as much as a full organic disk. plus that stage 2 isnt that aggressive.

The Spec 2+ is NOT an aggressive clutch. I ran one on a head/cam car for a solid couple of years and it drove just like stock, just bit harder. That's a GREAT DD clutch in my opinion.
