I came across this the other day looking for one for my car, but Hawks is getting ready to start selling reproduction power blocks with a stronger lid. I have seen so many of these cars with good looking engine bays and the lid be broke off, my car is one of them. http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/products/Junction-Box%2C-Camaro-%7B47%7D-Firebird-93%252d97-New-Reproduction.html

I couldn't agree more, wish they would come back to reality haha. But glad to see someone making parts like this for the LT guys, they had about 4 items coming out that was reproduction items for the LT cars.

Can you make something like this work? Stupid prices from the stereo shop, but I scored this one with some used stereo equipment. I eventually eliminated the stock block as part of the battery relocation/engine compartment clean up.

Never noticed a brand name on mine. They come in different sizes (for the various gauges of wire and number of wires). Figure out what wire size and # of in/out wires you need to accommodate and any decent car stereo place should have one.

Hide it. Looks cleaner.

Some yes. But I was extending anyway because I hid everything in the fender supports and radiator upper support. The battery cables won't reach but I'm having new longer ones made up anyway.

ok thanks I have been doing a little cleaning up and havn't decided where to put this yet. I was trying to avoid splicing wires but I may do that. sounds like I wont be getting my heads for a week or two so I may have some free time.
