I have an 89 Chevy truck that I haven't started in a month and went out today to try and start her up and no go.
It will crank but no start. I pulled the fuelline to the troddlebody and got fuel when I turned the key. I can't find a port to check the pressure.
I sprayed starter fluid and it will start only as long as I'm spraying.
When cranking the injectors aren't spraying a drop.
Could the injectors be clogged from sitting so long or electrical?
Just trying to see if anyone has had this problem.

have some one watch the tbi try and spray fuel into the barrows. If one of the two injectors doesn't spray could be loose wires or just may need to buy an injector or two.

Is there any way i can manually open an injector to see if I can clean or see if they still work?
She ran like a champ and started easily everyday before I parked it.

yes take the tbi off take it all apart clean it while your at it and replace parts that need to be replaced. A really good site to check out is thirdgen.org go to the tbi section and you can search there for someone having the same prob as you.

This may sound crazy but you may want to drop the tank and pull the fuel pump. The pick-up hose is notorious for being eroded by the ethanol in modern gas and degrading to nothing. Of course before you do that I'd check for fuel pressure, and if there isn't any rule out the filter, fuses etc.

Got to mess with the truck for a bit today and found out one if the injectors is bad.:-) I'll pick one up tomorrow off a junk truck some guy has down the street.
