Are there any differences in the throttle bodies for a 93 car compared to other years? Also does the transmission have anything to do with it?

The 92-93 LT1 TB's have a provision on the linkage for the transmission Throttle/Valve (TV) cable. The 94+ don't need that. You CAN interchange TB's if it's a M6 car without worry.

Ok I thought it was just the intake that had that provision. If it is an auto car is the entire tb different or could you swap the needed part from say a stock tb?

as long as it fits, like Sean said the TV cable is for the auto cars...as long as the extra bracket fits then your good....

The extra bracket is integrated into the linkage.....you'd have to tear the blades out and the linkage/shaft out and swap it over. May or may not work depending on if the two TB's were stock or not.
