My dad's 93Z28

Here's a rundown on it from the post I found on the local forum where he bought it from

93 camaro Z28 with LT1 383 / T-56
motor was built by carpartsmachineshop, has less than 1500 miles ( see i don't get to drive it). here are the specs of the whole car

Displacement=383
Compression Ratio= 12:1 (runs off of 91)
Bore=4.03
Stroke=3.75
Crank= scat 9000 series
Rods=scat forged I-beam 6' rods
Pistons= Wiseco Forged Pistons -5.4cc Flat top’s

Throttle Body= 58mm Holley
Intake Manifold= stock LE ported
CAI= k&n

Headers/Manifolds=LPP SS long tubes
Set-up (Duals, Y, etc..)= y-pipe

We bought it like that and we started on it about 12ish today and finally went inside after washing it and my moms car at about 6 lol had a buddy come by and weld the parking brake in place since it was broken out of its holds literally

Thanks I'm gonna try and get him on the forum he usually don't get on forums so yeah we will see what happens plan on strengthing the 10bolt and he's thinking about NOS right now but isn't sure he wants the rims and tires off my green one lol

I personally will never buy an off the shelf cam again. My experience with L.E. tells me that the only way to go... Is to call him.. Tell him what u have...and what u want and his price is great!

93 has a different gear ratio trans so the rears have different gears. I also told him everyone was gonna say get a le cam lol

a nice mix of quality parts. I thought all m6 car's had 3.42's?94+ M6 cars had 3.42 gears. 93 M6 could have 2.73 or 3.23.

Figured I'd give a update on my dad's car 4 of 8 pistons broken 2 pistons were missing a edge of them and 2 the ring gaps were broken. Engine is at a machine shop block is ok crank needed to be turned heads were good no bent valves or rods, just needs piston motor was 12:1 compression he's gonna drop it to 10-11 everyone has said that 12 is to high here for only 91 octane.

Update here also looks like about 1 more week till my dad gets his motor back hopefully gonna drop the compression to 10-11 and go from there
