Found this while poking around on craigslist for a Z71 Tahoe for the wifey, someone threw some money at this rig, would love to be able to afford it, and can only image how tight the thing turns with the quadrasteer rear end, my Avalanche turns amazingly sharp for how big it is, and this thing has a shorter wheelbase. My only worry is, GM didn't put it behind Duramax's for a reason, would be a really expensive fix, but man I would love to drive around in this thing.

That's pretty cool, 35 k is insane though! Kinda reminds me when they used to put those pos 6.5 Detroit diesels in the old k body style tahoes.

Didn't sell a lot of them but they were definitely unique

Yes, NOT factory, Quadrasteer was only on the 3/4 ton, crew cab trucks I believe, and only came in trucks with 6.0 gas engines. Also, when the body style changed in 2001, no more diesels in the suv's, sucks, cuz a burban or an avalanche with a duramax would be f-ing awesome.

The price is absolutely absurd, no one would ever pay that much for that truck, cut it in half and someone would buy it, maybe even for 20k, just because of what it is, but I doubt it.

Some has definitely put a ton of work into that Yukon. I think they should have kept the diesel option in the SUVs.

Just FYI, they did offer the Quadrasteer in 1/2 tons. We just had one in the shop this week.

I've only ever seen a couple on the road, and they were all 3/4 tons, learn something new everyday.
Also, I watched the video that is in the add description, figured out why it's so expensive, it was a dealer kinda place that specializes in conversions like this, it's all done top notch, just as if it came from the factory with it.

Soccer moms and diesel don't go together all too well.

Yeah, 3/4 ton and soccer moms don't go together all too well either, but I still thing 3/4 and 1 ton diesel GM SUVs would have had a market. Hell, people bought those Excursions.

I dunno... when I lived in DFW in the 90's about every other vehicle on the road was a Suburban with a cell phone jammed in a mom's ear.
