FINALLY decided on wheels [Archive]

I'm gonna go with black/machine faced C5 Z06's. I never heard of or saw them till a couple days ago and I think they're sick! Gonna be calling up a couple places and getting prices tomorrow! Took me long enough. :finger:

Mannnnnn theres almost 2 feet of snow on the ground around here I'm not worried about getting it back on the road till spring now. :D

Honestly, I dunno... I go back and forth whether I want them on my truck because they are so common. I do think they look excellent. They are just common. Being a timeless style wheel, and liking a classic hotrod kind of look makes them appeal to me more.

I think I would though. But these wheels are awesome... I was just giving him a hard time after his decision :D

Its its.... its an LT1! A 97, just with a front end conversion and LS1 brake swap. :p

i LOVE those wheels. i can never find them tho. those are the wheels i want. i could always buy normal z06s and paint them myself too

Yup. I'm not getting them. Can't find them anywhere. But Tomz Wheels said they can get a set 17x9.5" in front and 18x10.5" in rear. 18" is a little big for rears eh?

ahhh... The old fashion "It doesnt have Z28 badges, so it must be a V6" reasoning. It might be.. But might not. A few guys I know debadged their F-Bodies and are pretty nasty sleepers.. A friend of mine has a SOM Z28 and removed his Z badges, and I think its running high 10's. Looking at it, you would probibly think "Hmm.. Clean V6" until it starts. :laugh:. Maybe you know something that I dont know about the "V6" car, but my point is that you just never know ;).

I got 17x9.5" for all 4. I thought about the grey center ones but I don't like the rivets. Chrome should look good on silver.
