Hi guys, my wipers aren't acting right the motor was replaced two weeks ago, but I didn't put it in a friend of the family did, so what's going on is that the wipers will wipe but stop and just stay there. That's the short story, does the wipers need adjusting or replace the motor, and how do I fix it? Sorry if there's another thread about this!

When you shut the wipers off.....do the wipers move at all from the stopped position, like they're trying to park but only in the wrong spot? If that's the case then the motor is probably fine and all that happened was the wiper blades were put back on the posts in the wrong position. You simply need to index them correctly.

when I turn them on they will do one full wipe come back up and stop half way down but when you do it on mist it does the same but goes back down. so im constantly pressing the mist switch.

I'd probably pull the blades (the entire arm assembly I mean), flip them on, then flip them off. Once the motor parks in the off position, put the wiper arms back on in the correct parked position (against the lower stops). Tighten them down, then test the wipers.

Haynes isn't going to help you much, and no vids that I know of. Just do what I said above and you should be ok.

Sounds like u got a bad pulse board inside your motor. If u take the cover off the motor you will see a printed board like u see in a computer this controls the speed of the wipers and how far the wipers go. If the pulse board is bad the wipers motor doesnt know where to start or stop. Its like a 40 dollar part at the parts store
