View Full Version : LED Trans AM/Firebird gauge cluster

I'm wanting to swap over my gauge cluster to all LEDs. So far all the threads I've found have been for Camaros and don't correspond to me completely.

I've got 5 of the WLED-NW5 Natural White ones currently, and it looks like I need to order 2 more.

What LED do I need for all the small bulbs? I have 13 small bulbs I'm wanting to swap over as well, but can't seem to find which one will fit. I'l thinking that it is going to be this:

What year is your car? And do you plan to a overlay or keep it stock?

96 trans am. Stock overlay for now, possibly change in the future

Use these bulbs. Just get ones that match as replacement for current bulbs.

Don't use white led's either. They will wash out the stock color film. Your cluster will be pink! Use green for stock green indicators, blue for stock blue ect.

As for cluster lights run red.

Necrothread! Bringing this back just to ask if anyone happens to currently either have their dash apart and can pull their gauge cluster out real fast and check this or already knows for sure, but how many of each type of bulb do I need to swap the entire gauge cluster out?

Currently I have these stock bulb numbers on my list (preferably I just need to know how many of each stock bulb number, I can figure out the conversion to LED bulb number on my own):
Parking Brake Indicator - PC74
SES Indicator - PC74
Turn Signal Indicators - 194 (x2)
Hi-beam Indicator - PC74
Seat Belt Indicator - PC74

What other bulbs am I missing to finish out the entire cluster for a 1996 Trans Am? Looking for stock bulb number, how many of each (that I'm missing), and if you can indicate what they light up, that'd be greatly appreciated!

Ah lol. Guess I'll just have to take my own cluster out to find out! But I've got a comprehensive list for the entire car that I'll post up once I find the remaining bulbs. :) Interior and exterior.
