not the way I wanted to wake up...

Well long story short, My cousin has been fighting cancer for 5 years and I got a FB msg and got told that he is looking prolly not going to make it till thanksgiving. His pain is so severe that he is on a constant morphine drip. I am going to go see him on Thursday since that is my night off. Sad part is he is 5 months older than me and will be leaving behind 2 kids and a wife. The odd/ funny thing is that his dad had cancer and said goodbye on Christmas eve and if they are correct and he doesn't see thanksgiving it is going to be brutal for the family if he passes the day before.

This is something that I never really thought about before but it really makes you think what your legacy is...

Very sorry to hear, man. :( I know it's not easy to lose loved ones, especially around holiday times. 2 out of 3 of my grandparents passed away around this time and it is difficult, but remember to focus on all the good times and try to keep everyone smiling about memories with him. Laughter heals the soul fastest, so try to keep your cousin laughing as well in the days he has left. We're here for you bud.

He won't make it thru today from wat I have heard but on Thurs I saw him it was good and bad. Its hitting me harder than expected but i think its the proximity of age. Went out with a lady friend after seeing him and it was awesome. She took my mind off things so to speak.... but on the upside we walked around Walmart and found these.
On the down side I caught the damn sickness going around work
