My Brother was in a bad wreck 2 weeks ago. He's at the hospital in Roanoke VI 4 hours away from home. He feel asleep in his work truck (big box truck) and bounced off a hill side. His truck rolled down a steep hill 60ft to the road below. He was thrown out and gashed his head open in a few places and broke2 vertebra's in his neck. He was in very critical condition. But the cut him open put steel rods in his neck and he's been getting better everyday. He's been walking already but still hasn't been able to swollow any foods. I'd love for him to be able to eat thanks giving dinner at home. If not I hope he can eat by then and take as many of the family we can and eat thanks giving with him.

Monika and I will likely still be unpacking and getting settled in to our new apartment by then, but then we'll be at the big family dinner at my aunt and uncle's house.

I work, but I'm sure me and the lady will eat something when I get home. Those with family close by, be grateful, this year I won't see any family for the holidays, again.

Admittedly, I'm going to miss my in-law's Thanksgiving dinner ... Starts out with antipasto (cold meat, bread, breadsticks wrapped in prosciutto, melon, etc), then 2nd course is homemade cappelletti soup, 3rd course is homemade ravioli, 4th course is the main course with veal cutlet, turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cucumber salad, stuffed tomatoes, etc.. 5th course is desert (pies, cakes, etc), 6th course is desert (grapes, melon, apples, strawberries, etc) and coffee / espresso.

My wife is having anxiety issues again...really badly...so I'm trying to make it through with my son and wife...in tact..
But other than that. Its chow time..
the sad part in this all is that the price of her head shrinker is keeping me from getting the parts from a friend and fellow member, that I need to get my firebird up and running...
To that person...I just want to say..Thanx Ardent_Z28...you're a good guy!!! I appreciate your patience...

Well, I tried to do TG here, but Miss Popo8 is not feeling it. I wanted to get her parents and my parents together... So we will be going to her parents and doin the cliche' thing there.

I will say I am lucky to have met and befriended Larry. He has been a great person to have to listen to me.
I am thankful for him and this community. This year has been by far the worst I have ever had to endure. There were definitely some bright spots and it could be worse.. so far no one has died.. but it had been bad. I am thankful that things are not worse but will be more thankful when this shit comes to an end.
