My house was built in the 40's, one wall was 1" off level over a 5' distance. I guess levels were a luxury.
I had to do a shit load of leveling before I could even start. :banghead:

Sounds like my house. I had to teardown a couple walls. And rebuild them myself.

Looks good! I'm in the process of my 2nd tile job. Bathroom floor turned out pretty good, and I'm doing the kitchen floor this weekend.. Mine was built in '55, nothing is level/square/plumb and held together with lots and lots of nails.. Good luck on your project and happy grouting!

That is the last thing I needed to do with that restroom. I did the cabinets, countertop, floor and paint and trim.
You can see the pink tile I had on there.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/09/a6yjuvy8.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/09/3y8ubure.jpg

The whole bathroom looks great!
I still got to do the trim and finish the top part of the section between the 2 vanitys.
And redo some caulking in the shower. I don't like the caulk I used.

Looks good!!
I was going to do a 12"*12" pocket in the middle like yours but I just wanted to get it done. If it wasn't for my wife I would still have the pink seashell sink, and matching tub and tile, linoleum floor.
Next is the big 18'*50' addition. The car is gonna have to wait till I finish that when I get started next year.

Looks great.....We are in the process of renovating a 40's farmhouse as well. Since We bought the house 5-6 years ago, I have remodeled the Kitchen, Great room, Primary bathroom and turned the original living room (12x24) into a 4th bedroom and office. Always seems like the work is never done.
