Does anyone know of any shops in the Houston area?
I am looking to get my intake port matched to my heads, new rockers, springs and 7/16 studs. Upgrading my injectors and fuel pump. New clutch kit. maybesome chassis upgrades.
Any help is appreciated.

I am out in West Houston, so not far from you at all. I can't think of any one that touches LT1 cars in Houston. Best bet is to do it your self.

I would think any shop should do it.
It a just a 350 Chevy the most common engine in the world.

^^^^Most common except for the cooling system flow. But for what the OP is lookin' for I agree. I haven't lived in H-town for almost 11 years, but I had a method of tryin' engine balancing shops and automotive machine shops in the yellow pages to start, and ask about references.

North Houston here. Can confirm,
Everyone in H-town is interested in LSX. No love for the LT1.
My cousin said theirs a shop in Tomball and mechanic shop, not a hot rod shop, down the road from me in Clear Lake that has worked on a turbo LT1. They said they would work on mine when I wanted someone else to do my 24x conversion. They also said they have two mechanics that are into fast cars and modding so they are able to work on that stuff. Tomball is to far from me so I never looked for it and if you want me to get the info for the other shop down the road I'll look, but I know it's far from you.

383z.... what shop are you referring to in Clear Lake? I'm in that area, and am curious of whose around to do engine work/builds.
It's called "Auto Check"

I know this thread is old but the only shop in Houston I know of that will touch our cars is Serious Horsepower, I hope this helps.
I didn't know they worked on LT1s. I know they tune 24X.

HP Motorsports is a new shop in Katy. Just search the name on google. Talk to Jay, He knows LT1s. He tuned my brothers lsx swapped 96 ss and will be doing a dyno tune on my new 24x lt1 setup.
