Well, it seems the word of the Nova's departure is still making it's way through the "family." It has moved on to a new owner (GB Nova) with bigger and better things (with 2 less doors) in it's future. I have been on Craigslist since, and found an interesting ad on Monday.

1993 Camaro Z28 $Bob Barker

It was 160 miles from me down in to North Carolina, so I made contact and talked with the seller throughout the week. Made an offer, received a counter and we agreed on what I think was a great price.

60k on a documented stock bore rebuild. All power, pretty good shape interior. Hardtop. A4. Awesome condition ZO6 rims with brand new tires on the front and 50-60% rears. 18x10s. 275/35-18s. SS Hood (Factory hood included also.) New CD Player. New GM window motor in bag. New Duralast battery. CAI. Other than that, a stock unmolested Z. Right down to the factory manifolds!

Made an appointment, grabbed a U-Crawl trailer and hit the road. Made it down in a little over 2 hours. Check it over, signed the title, loaded and hit the road for the trip home.

Needs a few things addressed:
-Hopefully a small transmission issue
-The rear plastics in the hatch where the speakers go
-Needs some fresh plasti-dip

-NEEDS SOME LPP HEADERS !

Very nice! Looks like a very minor hood adjustment and you're all set. Clean and taken care of, looks like a great deal. Congrats!

It is weird. Feels like a loose hinge how it flexs a little. But the hinges appear tight. Might have to go with some of those slick flush mount pins. The PO bought some Summit pins and threw them in the console for me, but I hated hood pins until I saw the flush ones at the Shootout car show this year.

Looks like a very nice car! What's the total mileage, and what did you pay???? Oh, and paint or dip those corners by the lights black. Looks weird being color matched to the body.

233k on the dash. 60k on the engine rebuild. Got it for $1500.

The little corners on the outside of the headlights? I saw a line there. Maybe that's what I couldn't put my finger on looking at it and thinking something was off.

Nice car!!

It is indeed gray. It is the one that covers the spare tire on one side and the opposite side as well, both are missing. If that's what you have I am definitely interested.

Ahh crap i only have the drivers side one of those, our other 94 was missing the one that covers the spare so i gave it to him.

Thanks to all for the comments!

The LTX decision was easy. The choice for an Original or another swap vehicle was te tough part.

Looking forward to getting all the minor stuff together and putting some DD miles on her. Then see where funds are as compared to the Shootout when the info is released. That will determine if I run street stock or put a few parts towards ES. Absolutely want to run True Street again, that was a blast and well organized!

That would be a start if you don't want to hang on to half a pair. I'm always ready to deal.

Sweet. It is appreciated. Any chance you might be going to Cecil for the gtg?

Its a strong possibility, but as usual work being unpredictable and finding a babysitter to tolerate the kids will be the ultimate factor

LOL now that I realize they are 18s I'm kinda on the fence. But I kinda owe the Guy for picking up a part for me at the shootout so if he wants to make the 45min drive he can have. The entire interior I have taking up space.

That would be awesome if I could get at least the rear panels. I will take a good look at everything Monday and see what else I might be able to use. If you want it all out of the way, I can take it all and put whatever is left in my storage to get it out of your way.
