So in my rush I ordered corvette valve covers for my camaro on accident. As soon as they showed up I had them powder coated and went to go fit them and the bolts will not line up. I then looked and seen they where for the corvette. I know the alt. is on the drivers side of the Bette but I still thought if you switched them the covers should work!! Is there something I can do to make them work? I don't wanna shell out another 200 on covers!

The set you ordered has a notch on the drivers side?

The bolts them self will line up. The center bolt heads location is the same on all heads.

You can swap sides. But pvc valve and oil cap will be on driver side.

The oil cap is on the notched cover. Which is throwing me off even more!

Just read the tag on the box again, it clearly says lt1 corvette (92-96). Maybe summit sent me the right wrong ones? Lol.

The bolt spacing along the row the bolts are located in (from front of head to back end of head) is identical on both heads, because there is only one head, and it faces one direction on the driver's side and the other direction on the passenger side.

What is different is the spacing of the bolts side-to-side between the intake manifold and the exhaust side. The bolts are offset toward the exhaust side, not in the center. So... if you tried to put a Corvette driver's side valve cover on on the passenger side of the F-Body, with the notch for the alternator in the front, the bolt holes won't line up.
