I'm currently running 11.20 @120 with a 3.90 gear. Pretty sure if I can get into some cold air soon I can pull an 11.1x. I want to bring a 10.9x slip and was wondering if going to a 4.11 gear would make that happen?

Don't think that will make the difference, You 60's are great. Get some weight out maybe.

I'm running 9.95@133mph with a 80E and 4.10's but I let it shift into 4th and let it eat.

But on a side note I would stick with the 3.90 gear if you do much driving at 70+mph I'm setting at about 2,800@70mph

You're running 9's NA? I thought about dropping my converter to a 3600 and going to 4.10 too. I don't do any highway driving, not much of that in my area. Driving to work, which is a 55 mile round trip, most I see is 60 MPH.

Hmm ya then I wouldn't dink with it. Leave it and you can always grow. Car will pick up this fall, how was the weather when you set your pb? What's the converter stall and what diameter? Your combo works pretty good

PB weather was low 70's with about 1900 DA. TC is a 4000, Andre said true stall is like 4100, and it's a 9.5 inch.

I think its got 10s in it as it sits when some cold air rolls in late this fall!

Guess we'll find out in a couple weeks. I went two weeks ago temps in the high 60's with a DA of 2200, spun every time though. I still managed to match my PB but trapped 120 instead of 118. I think if it didn't spin it surely would have been an 11.15ish.

what's in the car suspension wise? shocks and settings, ta, lca setting, and pinion angle? 3700 lbs definitely don't help either lol but at least you can knock some et off if you ever decide to pull some out.

Stock original springs and shocks, UMI tunnel mount TA set at -3, and LCA's on the bottom. Oh also have UMI drag bar. The car is actually 3640 now but I can't edit my signature for some reason.
