Key wont turn

Just recently my key started to not turn at all, the key goes in the ignition but when you go to turn it to start the car, it wont go forward.

The steering wheel locks up to, if you wiggle the steering wheel and the key around at the same time it will fire up.

Do I need to replace the ignition ? Or is it a security problem?

Sounds like just because the wheel is locked it won't let you turn it it's kinda a safety thing to help prevent starting

Sometimes the wheel lock mechanism won't let you turn the key. Seen that in a lot of cars. If it's your lock cylinder, you'll likely need to just replace it.

Alright Sweet Thanks Guys ! I'll pick up the lock cylinder from o'reilly's tomorrow, and hopefully that solves the issue .
