Funny thing is the last stuff I put on reserve was 4 wheel bearing/hub assemblies for my dad. He doesn’t know how to use the internetz.. we have only a NAPA and an AutoZone local. I go to both equally, but no free swag from AZ.. Hmmm....
Apparently someone at NAPA took Business 101.. AZ could learn a lesson or 2

Im glad to hear that. I had a run in at out local NAPA about 10 years ago, way before AZ came to town. I was working on my DSM and was going to buy like $400 in parts. The guy got all the stuff and asked if i needed anything else. I had to pause like 1/2 a second and think, and he said(all smart assed) "want me to get you a stool so you can take your time to think?" I said no, and you can take all those parts and shove them up your ass.. I'll drive 30 min south to PepBoys and get all the stuff I need..
He wasnt at the store when I wnet back a few weeks later.. LOL
There is a guy at our local NAPA that is a Stang guy and me and him go around about my LT1.. he actually does like my car and he is a good guy.

I got the same hat today... Our shop does a lot of business with AutoZone, too. Sometimes they will bring us lunch.

That's awesome. My shop deals with advanced auto parts all the time. We usually get better deals on our personal stuff and the manager always buys us lunch.

AZ's are all corporate stores, so you really won't see anything like that unless it's a commercial account with a GOOD commercial manager in the store. Most Napa's are family owned franchises and that REALLY helps the customer service side of things.

Haha that's pretty cool. If only eBay did something like that - I'd have like 20 hats. :lolsign:

I deal so much with my local NAPA that they deliver my parts to the house. I also have the owner's cell number and have been told to call him if the store is closed, say on a sunday afternoon, and he will meet me at the store to get what I need. I love my NAPA!

I deliver Gates to all our local Napa stores. I honestly can say I've met the store OWNERS. They're all great people and genuine car guys.
It's nice to deal with the business owner, since they have a vested interest.
The distribution center can lick my nut sack. Those are some grouchy people!! Carquest kicks Napas tail in the way corporate people act. Yes, we have DCs for both here.

I like NAPA, I tend to find they stock better quality parts. I either go to NAPA or Rockauto.
