No, the pin needs to be long again for the 96 opti, he already cut it short for the 94

Thats a good idea. I think his prob is the stuff is away at the builders and the builder went on a trip... so now no ideas can be implemented.

Yep, that's it. No biggie, it's a little depressing, but we will move forward. Now there's not a rush on the car, and it's gonna be done 100% fine tooth comb, also, engine will be broken in on the dyno, and possibly gonna go with a smaller pulley from blower works right out of the garage lol

Expecting it to not blow up. Lol. Long rod 383 with le2 heads and a blower cam, like 26 hp less than urs maybe?

If it gets traction, it's a street car. Lowered on koni yellows and strano springs. Has all the suspension/chassis bits though. And a 3.42 10 bolt. Kinda scared to put a sticky tire on it ya know

Eh it's an auto car, 10 bolt should be fine. I actually never have broken one, wore out two posi units though, granted my hp level isn't monsterous but isn't exactly far off from your goal. Only went with a 9" because didn't feel like putting more money into repairing my 10 bolt. Both posi units were used, not new btw.

Who knows. .. 10 bolts are weird. I know a turbo lt1 out of chitown went 9 . teens at 150 Mph on a bone stock 10 bolt. His username was robsquickz28.

I think you'll be ok but then again I've seen them break at stock power levels so it's purely a gamble.

Oh god I wish. Hopefully over the winter I'll have karl do something for me. Probably a cheap stock crank 355 with forged rod/piston. Or a 383. Or a boost 355

And Ltconvert was concerned that the blower lsa wasn't gonna lope LOL. NightTrain66 nice work on the cam and heads man.

I would think it would make 600 at the tire. Your almost at 500 na at the fly wheel. Look at black birds car. . Granted he's got a better top end and blower but I think 15 psi would put you at low low 600

I don't think 15 psi is possible out of a p600b. Granted it was spiking 8 psi on the stock bottom end, so figure 6-7 on this, we can only drop .25 on the blower pulley before it's at max rpm at 6500rpm engine speed. We will have to see. Still trying to convince him to get a p1sc or d1sc

Where can one find said baller item? I have the bov reference off the port below the throttle body with a decent sized hose, like 3/8 I think.

On your mm pcv catch can, are you running it into sc inlet or intake where pcv goes stock? I'm curious

He is away for a few days. Off the grid I was told. Brutespeed sells a vacuum block from vibrant performance. I didn't look into it too carefully but may be what you want.

I used a fuel line fitting that fit perfectly into the brake booster hose. then the hobbs switch simply screwed into it.

Checked on the old guy tonight when I dropped the kiddos off, he's making good progress. He ordered up some sexy new otvc wires straight from taylor, (thanks gail) , sfi flexplate, and new 55gpm water pump. Also got the bung in the oil pan for the supercharger drain. Progress progress progress. It's coming together nice. With the 8" crank pulley and 3" procharger pulley, hoping for 8 psi. Lowest we can go on p600b is 2.75 and that's getting close to the max rpm the procharger can handle. He just wants it together and running.

For BLS's car I did a lot of AN/pushlok stuff instead of the factory rubber hose/nipple setup. Tapped the brake booster line and installed vac block, everything feeds off that. FP reg and BOV are fed right off the intake manifold. blackbirdws6 can post pics of his and I may be able to remember what I did.

How's that fuel pump whine treating you? I will snap a pic later but yes, vacuum block is inline with the brake booster line. I will need to see what I have on that block. I kept the important stuff as dedicated and ancillary on the block for the most part.

Thanks blackbirdws6 and shownomercy . I have the front pcv intake port for bov, and since we are gonna run the mm catch can to sc inlet I'm gonna use the old pcv feed for hobbs switch

Bleed entire brake system. Double check header bolts, make some kind of exhaust, loud mouth is in corner, double check custom zip ties, bleed coolant, top off trans, set on ground, adjust tps and shiz for idle. Then, go pro and tubby tune to get it down to the dude who did urs most likely. The tune that's in it is safe thus far, just have to monitor the dual fuel pump transition and make sure it works etc.

Custom data input in datamaster, basically have a wire from the serial data output on the aem uego and I just unplug the ac pressure sensor and take the bare copper end and plug it into where the red wire is on the plug LOL. I plan on hardwiring it with a switch so it is a bit cleaner hahahah. Then u just change the custom input data on cell 30 I believe In datamaster and poof there ya go, only thing is you can't graph it

She's on the ground. Strano springs and Konis on it. Umi driveshaft loop is awfully low lol. Still playing with things. Might get a burnout soon. Damn steering shaft hitting headers. Fan hitting rad (dno why, it cleared before)

Took the car for another ride yesterday after removing 2 quarts of trans fluid LOL it was luckily just puking out of the overflow. Car likes to surge when u release throttle, rpm dips then comes back. Saw 5 psi because everything else looked good, but at 4 it goes piggy wiggly rich 10.0. More tuning

Because there's no real need to have duals at the back, you're not gaining anything with 2 2.5" pipes after a 3" intermediate pipe 7ft long. He likes the sound of the single 3" bullet he has, but it needs to be over the axle as opposed to dumped due to inspection. Plus that bullet is awfully beat up and burnt out as well. He doesn't like the tips out the back that are visible, so this will be mufflex single style so it's semi hidden. Cheaper than a mufflex, should flow enough for his build.

Sorry I couldn't make it down. It wasn't supposed to be that loud, but the exhaust dudes bender kept crushing 3", so he had to throw the old loudmouth he had laying around on. It's a litle, raspy....

Wow it's been a while. Car only made 425whp, wouldn't run worth shit after it came back from tuner. Ended up finding a different tuner (creech) and car runs like a raped ape all of 2016. Car only made a little more on dyno at dyno day, but converter wasn't loaded correctly.

Now car is getting le ported 21 degree trickflows with bigger valves and Springs set up for 12+ psig, a 8.5" 12 rib crank pulley and 2.95" blower pulley, gonna max the p600b out.

Yeah he's still around. He ended up redoing the entire tune, as the other person messed it up pretty substantially. I gotta send him an email for the update

Front end apart, rad etc out. Ac has to be deleted to move rad up a Lil to clear 12 rib stuff. Belt was a royal pain to put on. Blower pulley was easy to put on. Lloyd said heads will ship Monday. Gotcha... i know u can send the p1sc back to procharger and they will upgrade the internals to d1 internals for about 900 bucks... idk if there is an option like that for the p600.

There used to be that option, but not anymore. Biggest reason is the engine oils the p600b, it's not self contained. But atleast this one has the billet wheel. So it can safely be pushed to its limit. Just hope it's not too inefficient, the intercooler should help that though. That 12 rib belt was fun to get on, had to remove tensioner, install belt, then reinstall tensioner and make guitar string tight. Bob from brute speed said it'll stretch lol

Yeah I checked pulley alignment already a few times, I work with very large belts/pulleys every day, lol. Bob/brutespeed said baby it for a couple hours then retension belt. Going back to pacesetters, don't like how these headers fit in this particular car. Racekar probs. Car has a mufflex/MagnaFlow 3.5"

Believe they come out around 212. Didn't want to go afr, shaft mount rockers etc. They flow over 300cfm intake.

Fucking ugh. Fought us tooth and nail all day. This is the 8th time the intake is bolted down. Had to egg out the bolt holes to line up a little bit. Bolted it down for a gasket impression to check seal as per Fastbird. Pacesetters went in with one ding to a primary on passenger side, no other issues. Rockers and pushrods in and lashed to 3/4 per ellwein. Back at it tomorrow. Hoping to finish it up then we can bring mine in garage for yankage of engine.

I HATE THIS CAR. there I said it. Everything is buttoned up EXCEPT the stupid exhaust. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170306/6d1f55bf567ea2011c84966e8ba624c6.jpg hoping to fire off when the 3-3.5" adapter shows up.

EDIT: well everything is buttoned up except exhaust. By deleting a.c. condenser we were able to easily slide up the hole rad/cover about 1" to clear the 8.5"/2.95" 12 rib blower stuff. Had to egg out intake holes to line up, that was a 4 hour snafu. Pacesetters really do fit decent, seems like they revised them or something, even the bolts were a nonissue. Y pipe is a little close to driveshaft loop, and if I move it anymore left to give more clearance the torque arm will hit it. I don't know why the hell mufflex ships their 3.5" exhaust with a 3" o.d. adapter end welded on, kinda screws you when installing on a 3" od y pipe. Ltconvert got his nitto nt05's mounted up on his summer wheels, they look niiiiiiiice. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170306/11e69993ae3e4e7f49542e714c0250d5.jpg 275/40/17 front 295/35/18 rears. Me and Ltconvert forgot how bad painted headers smoke on first start, had garage full of smoke. Car didn't want to start at first, running a bkr6e plug. We will see when we set it down and he puts a few miles on it

Didn't change the tune yet because we have to put some miles on it first. Peak boost and up high is the big difference, otherwise at idle and stuff shouldn't really be different from le2 heads

They had fitment issues on his specific car because we didn't feel like trimming k member or clearancing torque arm relocation crossmember/ds loop or rerouting oil line for procharger (p600b not self contained like p1sc, etc). Gotta remember, with this car and the stupercharger things get tight quick. They cleared everything on the previous owners car, your mileage may vary

Also, hence the rather large discount on them, he paid 600 for them with the elusive proper fitting y pipe that xs/lpp/sa doesn't send you anymore.

Most likely. Passenger side fit fine, drivers side will need either trim of k member or ding in one tube, and ls steering shaft or ding in another. Those were the main two areas of interference. Previous owner had to ding passenger side primary from hitting shock tower, but he had rubber motor mounts, osie has poly

For now, no but who knows down the line. I like a warranty and this one is actually good for use on track. Mopar likes to advertise their cars as being track capable but if you do it and break...you may be in for a bad time.

Ok so this is fucked up, changed fuel pump relay, car runs for 10 seconds and dies. Did it twice. Then relay doesn't prime fuel pump. Put old relay back in siddenly works then acts up again. Vats light ok, no vats issue that I can see, unless theft deterrent module is fucking up or pcm is screwing up

Got home from the central pa parts run and turned the key twice. Both times it primed.....i am lost lol

I did reflash the pcm to see if that would clear it up, as a failing checksum or something could cause weird issues, and we kept jumping this car with a battery charger when the optima died

Osies mom would've shot us if we started it when we got home. Will find out tomorrow. Earlier after flashing it I had restarted it 4 times and drove it a little bit. It didn't die. We will see tomorrow

Put a fuel pressure guage on it, in case it stalls again to see if it bleeds off and dies... or if it just stops running suddenly.

Delete the factory relay.

So are you suggesting basically jumping the pcm signal wire to the gray wire that runs back and powers the coils on the other relays? It's the lonnies double pumper setup outback.

I thought about doing that so then the pink power from the theft deterrent relay is no longer in use.

had an issue with belt alignment with a.c. delete pulley. fixed that and changed oil. this car is friggin scary fast. went for a ride with the old guy (he was driving), and seriously, when you hit the point the bov closes, hold the hell on

wellllllll. this year made better numbers. 500whp skating on the dyno. peak boost a little over 10psi at 5750 rpm (rpm limiting ourselves). car is a handful on both street and dyno LOL. tune went a little lean, so sent logs to Jeff Creech to see if it's mechanical or tune related (boost was raised almost 4 psig and bigger heads this year). with street tires and the control arms the wrong angle, the car just blows the tires off. I'm actually scared how it's gonna pull from a dig. remember dyno day? LOL

car made 471whp 604rwtq on a land and sea dyno yesterday, no changes since ltxtech dyno day. either the trans is slipping or something with converter. owner of shop said it is a 600whp all day car if it would actually read right and not spin/flash converter on dyno

gotta get it to the track.
