Okay I've been looking around a bit for an answer but haven't found anything that really sums it up. Might be good reason for that but anyways...
I've currently got a 355 with s10 swap headers, 2 1/4 true duals into Magnaflow glass packs that dump right before the rear axle. From what I can find my exhaust setup is sufficient enough for my setup and in my personal opinion it's loud enough to get me in trouble lol.
Now my question. Would running cutouts be of any benefit at all on this setup? The reason I ask is because I have a set of cutouts I can use, and I have to redesign my drivers side a bit to clear my front diff anyways. Just wondering if there's any benefit. Not going much for times at the moment but I know some people see a difference with open headers compared to a full exhaust so thought while I'm at it if its a good idea I'd add them in.
I guess to sum it up and make it more universal: are cutouts beneficial on a dual exhaust setup that ends at the rear axle?
