I am in the process of throwing in the last few parts on my car(for now:D) so time for some tuning. i have a pcm4less tune now so i can drive the car but want to dyno tune or would like to tune myself but i have zero knowledge on the subject. I have been seeing a few posts on the ls1 24x conversion and sounds cool. There are tons of ls1 tuners around me but have found none that do ltxs in the dallas fort worth area. would it be worth the time and money to do the 24x conversion or should i just keep hunting for a ltx tuner.:confused::confused:

The tuners for our platform is going the way of the dinosaurs. And hard to find(competent ones). I had to haul my car 4.5 hours away to get a good dyno tune.
The 24X conversion is pricy at first. But does offer many more options to tune. I would say it's worth it.
I like the obd1 we have. But its hard to fight change.

Closest 2 I've heard of to DFW are Moe Bailey down in San Antonio or Ed Wright up in Oklahoma. Either way, it's about a 4 hour drive, but I hear they're 2 of the best for LT1s.
