I bought what was suppose to be a 95 TA engine. It does not have a vented opti.It has the 2 small whole timing cover. It has the oil sending unit on top behind the intake.I was told it had a lt4 hot cam kit in it.Tell me what you think.

If that came off the motor it's a 94 setup.

It came off the motor I bought. Thanks for letting me know. The oil sending unit. Its on the top of the motor behind the intake.Isnt that suppose to be the 95 up?Also can I swap the oil sending unit to the bottom were the one is on my other engine was?that way i can hook it up with out having to figure something out on my harness?Im going to use my 94 harness and the oil sending unit is at the bottom were the oil filter is?

The oil pressure sensor was moved to the top of the engine early in the 1994 model year. My late 94 has it on top.
