i know someone will be able to tell me. what is the largest valve i can use on a stock lt1 bottom end.

You can use a big a valve as you want, but why? What are you doing? Bigger is NOT always better when it comes to valves. For stock heads there isn't much need for anything bigger that 2.00"/1.6", IMO.

Make it too big and it will be shrouded in the dome of the head, flowing less than a smaller valve. Remember that the flow area of the valve it not the area of the valve head. It is the circumference of the valve head times the lift. If 1/3 of that area it butted up against the head's combustion chamber surface, it's not going to flow well.

I don't believe that the LT1 heads will even take more than 2.00"/1.6" without some pretty extensive working of the valve seat......

thanks guys, i was looking at getting a set of track 1 brodix heads coverted, they are 2.08 itake 1.60 exhaust they flowed 320 at 700 lift too big for my little 350. usless i 13.1 compression and spin it to 8000. just going to get ai 200cc heads.

eric bradsby was doing all the head work and intake, joe overton was doing the cam so everything would match eachother. just want the best set up.

I run a 2.10" intake valve. That's what the heads came with. I'm sure they would be better off on a 4.125" bore, but i'm stuck with what I have.

i would be happy with a 10.1 car n/a thats great man. but i know we are never happy always got to go faster..
