I beat 2 of my friends "grocery getters" in 2 different nights. On wednesday, I beat my buddies Saturn ION, and last night I beat another one of my friends Accoards.

On wednesday, A friend of mine was following me home, and tried the whole "ricer fly-by thing".. Wasnt gonna happen.. Tried again... Same result, didnt happen.

Last night I was leaving a basketball game, and a buddy of mine in a accoard who was leaving too and lined up next to me at a stop light, looked over, and pointed as if he wanted to race. I laughed, saw no point in launching hard, eased into it, then let 'er rip, quickly leaving him behind. Next light... He wants to go again, so i'm like WTF? The outcome isnt going to be any different. Light turns green, and I didnt see him take off, so I didnt either. A few seconds later, he floors it, and then so do I. Same thing.. Left him train lengths back. lol

Both cars are completely stock performance wise, and the outcome was definately no suprise to me. lol.

Both races were all in fun. I dont even know why I am posting this though, since they werent even good races.

I'd also prefer to be lined up against something in the same time index as me at the track but I understand that's hard to do on a test and tune night when they're trying to get as many runs in.

To me racing is about who is the better driver, not who has blown the most money on their car. I could drop 20k+ on my car and have a fast ass car, but there would still be something out there faster, and I wouldn't drive the car as much.

I didnt ask for these races.. They obviously wanted to since I already knew the outcomes, and so did they. It was all in fun, and I didnt really mind doing it either. It was definately an expected outcome.

I've raced quite a few considerably faster cars than my Formula. If people want to race, and they arent acting like an ass hole, I'll go as long as its not a bad place to do it. I raced a 03/04 Cobra that was a mid 11 second car, a C6 vette, a few 5.0's, some LS1's, and a few others. All of which were way faster than my Formula. If the little ricers want to play around and be put in their place, I'll do it.

I'm not going to deny someone a race just because they are faster or slower if they really want to race me. Just as long as they arent acting like a tool or a jack ass, I will go. I dont go out and beat up on the grocery getters unless they ask for it.

I have had that happen before.. I had some dumb kid in a MR2 with his girlfriend trying to race me forever and kept following me around town. I finally stopped at a light and ask the kid what the hell he wanted... He asked me if my SS was fast.... I just kinda gave him some dumb ass look and was like you serious?..... So I was about to be downtown so I said fuck it and punched it and lite up the tires and just flew past his ass.. end of story and he just followed me to the parking garage and was like damn dude that car is sick.

that ..I do agree on :DI probably wouldn't waste my time racing a caprice wagon. It's quite a bit heavier than my car so unless it's got a decent amount done to it I would think I would win, and also if we fly by a cop car, guess who's going to get the ticket?
If you don't know I'd find about the car before I raced it. But let's face it unless the cars mentioned above have a 100 shot of nitrous it shouldn't be much of a race. Therefore I don't feel the need to beat on my car, wear down my tires, waste my gas, and risk getting a ticket, or as much as losing my license.

the 350z on Tuesday morning at 3:35ish am did ..I had the cruise set at 50 in a 45 zone when said 350z decided to blow by me after I'd done the 0 to 50 launch 3 lights back from green after being seduced by his romping on the throttle at said previous intersection he proceeded to do the rice flyby but the intersection he did that at was right beside the 24hr McDs and that's where 3 patrol cars were enjoying their now interrupted coffee/donuts/meals break and I got passed by all 3 of them before the 2nd next intersection...the 350z/Impala/Crown Vic meetup was in a parking lot not much further up the road. He was standing by his car urgently pointing/waving at me as I rolled by still set on cruise at 50 being slowly passed on the left by an Accord.
