WTB high flow cat. 2.5 in out

I am looking for a high flow cat for my exhaust that I am getting within the week. not looking to break the bank magnaflow gave me a show price of 160 down here at the truck show but that still seems a but much lol. if anyone knows of anything let me know

Hmmm I would do a summit racing search or jegs and go from there. ..ur local shop may have a good one that they use.....I found mine on ebay for 30 bucks =)

would it work good with 2.5 inch? or would it affect sound. its for a v6, I could use a reducer as long as it wouldn't affect the sound lol

Im getting a 3 inch installed later this week in place of my 2.5. I'm not sure what kind it is or what shape it is in but I can let you know probably end of the week. I just got a dynomax from jegs for $75, I think the magnaflow one was only like 5 bucks more

Sound is going to change with every bend, weld, pipe type (stainless, aluminum), muffler/ cat location in relation to engine and each other....it all changes the sound.....better or worse idk...

Tuned exhaust.....thats what the kits sell an exhaust that amplifies or subdues the correct tones...

Its all perception. ...do u like it? That's all that matters....but it gets costly if its not what ya want....

Fwiw I yanked my highflow cat back off after a couple months......horrible drone in the cab at certain rpms

It wasnt the cats fault tho just the whole system...I could tried moving stuff around to fix the reverb but im cheap!
