Our 94 Corvette free mods - This is the start!

So yesterday I got the bug to do something and decided to do what few free mods I can do to Monika's Corvette. Decided I'd start with the TB bypass and cutting open the air box lid to let it breathe easier. Looked all around and discovered that nobody around here sells or stocks the damn part I need to couple the 2 hoses together off the TB, so Larry (@popo8) was gracious enough to hook me up with an unused kit he had laying around. Just waiting on that to come in to get it installed, but I did knock out the air box lid. Hopefully Monika doesn't go driving through any deep puddles and waterlock the engine... :lol: I also cleaned up the lid since it was out and all nice and dirty. Pics below!

Thank you, second time I've played with an angle grinder lol. I'm not gonna mess with the license plate filler, gonna leave the exterior looking nice and clean and stock.

I saw a couple different kits for that, but as dirty as the streets are around here, I'm afraid of what that'd suck up. I already pulled some trash out of the radiator grill when I did the O2s on it. :lol:

I have looked but it seems that both B+M and Hurst do not make shifters for the ZF trans in these cars?

Ok well I found out that they did at 1 time but no longer do and from what I can see they are both a real pain to put in and the B+M is the preferred 1 to get so does anybody have 1 they no longer want?
Oh by the way Blackbird, I showed this thread to my Dad and now it is getting done to his C4 so thank you for the nice write up :)

Well after reading some stuff it looks like I will be looking for the B+M ripper for it and if I find 1 I will just put a Hurst knob on it :)
2291922920This was in my shop where we did front tires, and a coolant flush, alignment ect to it and also found out that the rear tires are wrong too so they will be ordered tomorrow and the hunt for a ripper shifter and exhaust continues as well so if anybody out here has C4 goodies let me know.

I just set my Dad up with an account here, now he can get out here on his own. We just finished the airbox mod on it today and he is going to get new rubber on it on saturday in the back and now he is looking for a ripper shifter for it and a catback next. Oh this is Madman by the way on Dads account I just set up for him. Thanks guys for the compliments on the car too.

Dad will be at the shop tomorrow to put the 285-40r17s on to replace the 275-45r17s that are on it now.
