Ordered some goodies

Since it is my birthday today, I ordered my self a happy turning 17 gift... the Pypes X-Pipe exhaust for B Body cars. The system is made to bolt directly to catylitic converters, but like Ron Burgandy said, "I am not a baby, I am a man!" So, hacking off my Thrush mufflers and cats (selling them), ordering some Hooker Aerochamber mufflers, ordering some Flowtech Afterburner headers, and having it all custom fabbed and installed. Stay tuned for the before and after sound clips later in down the road! 'Merica has its birthday tomorrow so to everyone that reads this, have a great holiday and do not drink TOO much beer and light fireworks... just a little...

It is funny that you mentioned the FWD fart cars. My dad drives an 08' Mazdaspeed 3 that is very quick. It spanks my SS at everything. I give him crap all the time for it but his Chevelle makes up for the rice burner. I do respect the car though and drive it every chance I get. Mainly because of the 6 speed... And turbo spool noise... A BOV noise... and being able to get to 60 in mid 4s... but nothing can reolace the feeling of driving a B Body.

Its fine if the reason is a dd...or if thats someones passion... But i cant stand fart cans...or stupid tow hooks...or boost guages hooked up that only read vac....cause there is no boost!.
chile has a 6spd caprice on here.

We also have a twin turbo b body here as well...so all the things u like about the mazda... Ehhhh. We can donit too...and the note from the tail pipe is way better. Lol

Yes it is a DD with alot of stuff done to it. My dad discovered Auto X when I drug him to an Impala meet with some other Impala and Caprice guys and then he sunk abunch if money into it.

Yes, I am good friends with Mike Fetco. He is the one that wrote the manual for the T56 swap. It is on my list of things to do after I get out of school.

Yeah I have a 6spd 9c1. Its my baby. Back in day I had hooker aerochamber. Sounded awesome. Now I have pypes m80 bullet muffler for the big engine. Those are loud.

Alot of people having been having fires due to shorties recently. I am going to steer clear of those, but I do appreciate the help!

Well cruised all weekend with the X Pipe on. Idle got somewhat quiet, but while driving it is alot louder. Found that my mufflers are 2" diameter, which is odd, and the guys that I had put it on broke a manifold bolt so now I have an exhaust leak. Just need some mufflers and headers then I will be set!
