Help a retard retard?

I will be running a aftermarket ignition box (MSD or Mallory) next year and I am wondering what I will need to take timing out of my ignition with a after market device that isnt to fancy or pricey? If you can give part numbers and a store or link that sells whatever you think would work best that would be awesome.

I would like it to only activate when the N20 system is armed and work well with a window switch of some sort. All parts would be going on my 97 TA.

Just get a MSD Digital 6 (PN 6520) or Mallory Hyfire 6CD (PN 685).

I have the MSD on both of my cars. I use it to retard the timing on the N2O car. I had to get a NOS Window switch because the MSD doesn't have one built in, the Mallory has one built in and can retard timing as well.

Both are good choices.

I use the Digital 6...has worked great for me. You wire it to your NOS arming switch and it activates the silinoids and pulls timing all at once.

Ive heard the Mallory 685 is a nice piece...never used it though...Digital 6 has been great. They arent cheap. I bought mine off one of the forums and havent had a problem.

My car only has two pedals but when leaving on 200+ two years ago when the ten bolt died it was nice having the window switch kill the nitrous before hitting the rev limiter.

I would never run a kit without a window switch.
