Hello all, this us my first post here and request for help. I have a Summit Racing RPM window switch for triggering a ground to my nitrous and fuel solenoids on my nitrous kit on my 96 Camaro Z28. The installation instructions state that if the solenoids draw more than 3 amps that a relay must be used to drive the window switch or it will burn up. My nitrous solenoids draw 6 amps so a relay I must use.
Here are the wires and connections on the window switch:
Red - switched 12v supply source
Black - Chassis ground
Gray - input for tach signal from my MSD ignition
Blue - negative / ground side of nitrous / fuel solenoids.
Does anyone know enough about the Bueler BU-5083-0000 relay to tell me how to drive the window switch with it?
Thanks very much,
James
