hey everyone. pretty cool that this board is up now, been following the thread over on LS1tech for a few days.

just got a 96 formula firebird a couple of weeks ago, most likely gonna need some help with it, performance and maintenance, as it's the first RWD vehicle i've owned.

just outa curiosity, is there an F-body group/club that has get togethers in orlando?

i'm still trying to figure out what all's been done to the car by the previous owner. i know for sure it has an aftermarket exhaust, no cats, ebay intake, hurst short throw, (i think) flowmaster muffler, slotted and dimpled rotors and some decent brake pads. i'm assuming the PCM has been retuned at some point since the car isn't throwing a check engine light, but doesn't have any cats, rear o2 sensors (96, obdII) and some of the EGR stuff has been disconnected.

i'm still trying to get ahold of the previous owner to find out if the car is cammed or not. i don't suppose there's any way to tell without ripping the cam out of the engine?

and yes, i know the front bumper isn't color matched properly, but seeing as i only paid 3k for the car, i'm not gonna complain too much. :whistle:

edit: and i have no fucking clue what that antenna lookin doo-hickey is on the rear driver side quarter panel. i think someone used to have a cb radio in the car.
