r ear main....not dont know were its leakimg now cars in pieces

So we started to tear my car apart this morning thinking it was a rear main and I guess its not we were almost sure but no oil on flyweal or seal area after we had the tranny just about out. Now we r trying to find the leak. There is so much oil around there most of it up high looked dry but it has to be coming from there because its leaking on top of the header on the pass side my buddy is bringing a camera home tommorow to get back there any ideas I felt around the valv covers it felt mostly like old residual oil. Ughghhh its one thing after another also car was howling very minutley going about 50 probably a fuckimg carrier bearing......its not the rear end

Sounds like an intake, or where is the oil psi sending unit on v6s?

my thought was the intake too, but there dosent seem to be fresh looking oil up that high but mabey some brake cleaner would do it I tried letting it run too see were it would come from but it didn't leak then of coarse. as for the sending unit its located to the left of the oil filter, I was not paying attention to this specificly today but would sure have noticed if it was leaking its not really hidden and my oil pressure readings appear normal
