Just picked up a 95 Firehawk how did I do?

Here is a list of mods. Any idea on HP



Engine :


New front, rear main seals and all new gaskets.


New timing chain and gear set. Replaced water pump drive bearing at the same time.


New upgraded water pump and 160 degree thermostat.


New upgraded optispark distributor, 11MM wires and iridium plugs.


New double valve springs, seats/caps, locks, valve seals, and 1.6 roller rockers.


New sensors installed on engine.


New Fidanza 12.5 pound flywheel and Stage 3 clutch.


Installed Edlebrock Ti-Tec coated headers with matching Y-pipe.


Reinstalled the factory 3" catback system from SLP.


Installed Corvette magnesium valve covers.


Installed SLP airfoil in throttle body.


Used a Hyperchip tuner on the computer.


Have Corvette fuel rail covers with installation hardware. Not installed.


Suspension :


4 New KYB AGX Adjustable shocks


4 New Summit Racing 1.25" drop springs.


New tubular frame connectors


Upgraded brake system to 1998 to 2002 system with stainless steel braided lines and drilled and slotted rotors with carbon pads.


Front Suspension :


New Energy polyurethane bushings and ball joints.


New 25MM sway bar.


New strut tie bar.






Rear Suspension :


New tubular rear lower control arms and panhard bar.


New trans tunnel mounted adjustable torque-arm.


New 35MM sway bar.


Fuel System :


New GM sending unit


Installed Racetronix fuel pump kit.

Pics? Mod list looks good you probably arent gaining anything from those mods though. Especially not with a hypertech.

I understand not big gains in HP just have not played with an LT1 in awhile. This is my 17th F-Body I just can not keep away from them. These mods came with the car. Have big plans for this one. Sold my LS1 7 months ago and could not live with out a car.

just a few minor things to fix. Passenger head light needs to be painted and dash cover replaced that is about it. and of course the intake is leaking at the rear like all LT1's. just minor stuff.

Very nice hawk. I love the car. Sorry if i came off like a dick i wasnt meaning to just saying it was mainly up keep work done to it. Love the color and wheels. Those wheels are pretty hard to come by.

Badbird, I did not take it that way. I know most these mods are minor and the headers don't do much for the car but hay they are already on it and better then stock, I have a lot of plans for this one.

There was 671 Hawks made that year. And only 41 coupes in that color. And last i seen only 36 are surviving. So your car is fairly rare for that year.

There beautiful cars. I can't go 2 days without looking over pics of them. And always searching ebay for rare parts.(like the original Firehawk key chain that came with the cars)

i got #524 for 1995 i called slp to confirm the vin and was very surprised to speak with mr. hamburg him self :)
