my new trans am...afr heads, cam .....

bought a friends friends car. alota work done here. i have seen it run too. ran 12.6 with 4.11s and now it has 3.83 gears...guess it was bouncing of rev limiter in 4th at the traps before but it hasnt been run with the new gears.
so afr heads, comp cam, holley tb, intake, msd, subframe connectors, panhard bar, lower controll arms, line lock, mid tubes, electric exhaust cut out, vett wheels, and more i cant remember. I had a chance to buy it for a good price so i jumped on it.

thanks, its amazing compared to my old lt1 car..the suspension is a major major help. and the 6 speed is like sex:P
its got some weird muffler thats kinda too loud especially when i can open the cut out if i want loud.
i already had to spend hours doing exhaust manifold gaskets and i got a leak at the cut out where it bolts up but its a solid car and track ready

theres about 600 miles on the new 3.83 gears any recommendations on what fluid? it needs to be changed

Ive never heard 3.83 ratio gear. Are you sure thats the gear you have? Are you sure you dont have a 383 for a motor?

Aftermarket gear set...wish it was a stroker motor..just stock with AFR heads 1.6 roller rockers and heavier springs

maybe they are 3.73 gears but he told me 3.83 and he installed then so i figured that he would nt confuse them. He had 4.11 gears and hated them because the car would bounce off the rev limiter in 4th gear going through the traps at the track.

turns out the rear diff cover is a lingenfelter. it took a ton of oil to fill

Looks like a SLP 2 on the left exhaust which is quite desirable. Some cool stuff on this car. be safe with it and keep between the ditches and shiny side up.

slp 2 on the left? i think its just a cheap muffler..looks like 3 1/2" pipe all the way to the muffler then the 2 1/2 dual out on the same end

im lost, what kinda slp exhaust do you think it is. i was told its a knock off ebay muffler. it does say slp on the plastic near the radiator? never heard of a slp ta, hmm
