I'm looking for forged parts as in forged pistons, crank, h-beam rods. They need to be for a 383 block. If have any for sale let me know could also do some trading as I'm taking out my n/a setup which was an eagle rotating assembly. Has speedpro pistons, I beam rods, cast crank tthey are also for a 383 and only have 6,000 miles on it.

Bump...
only thing left I need is a good crank for a 383. I have a cast eagle right now and really don't want to throw that in with the forged stuff I just bought.

I got an Ohio forged crank, was I think $530 shipped brand new. We have a guy local boosting one up to 1200-1300 hp. Not selling mine, just letting you know where you can find a good priced new one.

Check out Howards Cams "Track Smart" forged cranks. This is the crank I bought. 100% USA made and less than $700 (when I bought it anyway).
I believe this crank is even on Summit Racing. It needs to be a 1 piece rear main seal crank.

I appreciate the info guys those are both in the range I have to spend on one and will do some shopping around. I looked at scat they have one at 600 something dollars. Any feedback with those? I have scat 6.0 h beam rods that I'm using and some srp pistons. Not needing anything to crazy just something to hold some mild boost (8-10 psi )

Well If I am spending between 6 and 7
Hundred dollars, I would buy the Made in the USA crank before the foreign (Scat) crank. That's just me.
I have not heard anything bad about Scat, though.

So I called around and got prices howards said they don't have that crank anymore .... Ohio is at a good price its right at about 500.... scat is the most expensive at 661.00 with about 2 week waiting period b4 it ships out... and eagle was 640 shipping out same day and rated at 1500( which I have no plans of being even close to that) with that said I'm leaning towards eagle. Any comments on eagles 4340 forged crank? Need feedback fast as I'm purchasing one today ...

This is on Howards Cams website.
Won't this work?
Chev SB, 1-pc Seal, 2.100” (LJ) Rod Pin
H353756011T
350 Main, 3.750” Stroke, 6.000” Rod
Also, why not get the Ohio crankshaft? Is it made here in the States?

I called howard cams and he told me they no longer had those cranks hut it appears they do.... and Ohio crankshafts are not made here in the states I spoke with a rep from there on the phone and he said its made overseas and sent here to the states and they inspect it.

Heads are Dart 215's fully upgraded ($1500)
They have dual springs for a solid mechanical roller good to in the .700 lift
I believe they have titanium retainers, don't remember 100%
The come assembled with guide plates, one box has been opened to look at it the other is still sealed in the box
Heads cost me over $2k with all the bells and whistles
They also have boost valves in them. I believe they are a 1 piece stainless steel valve.
Also have oil pan, 58 mm BBK TB, canton valve covers. All that. Can't part out my shortblock or I'd have something for you.
