well I am trying to figure out what wires are in the 32 pin connector for the cluster. just wondering if anyone one had a pinout for this connector? i have GM factory manuals and as good as this manual is, i couldn't find the page that shows the pinout on this connector. I have been rifling through the schematics, i think i may have some of it sorted out. i don't want to guess at this though. especially since there is not even a motor in the car.

i would like to use those wires to complete my new gauge package.

any help is appreciated!
tia.

by chance do you know if d13 and d7 are switched +12v ?

and is c14 constant +12v ? all my shit is disconnected, so i can't check it easily. it is late, maybe i will look in the manual.

thanks good nite! lol.

You are correct.

D7 & D13 are switched +12v
C14 is constant +12v

well the rest of the items from the 32 pin connector are straight forward. the pinout saved me a bunch of work. my speedo is a GPS unit, i am adding a tach, fuel gauge and water temp gauge. all four are programmable, with warning lights on the water temp and fuel gauge. the speedo also has the turn signals built into it along with the high beam signal. just simple cut and solder to the wires i need. did that late last night.

that was the first time i have touched the car in 6 months!!!!!!!!!!! phuck me! lol!!! motor is at Holbrook Race engines, after pissing away 4 months with my stuff sitting over at Champion Racing engines in Centerline, Mi. (boy did I get f'n strung along there), i picked up my shit and brought to Holbrook racing engines. block has been half filled, and am hoping they get started on the machining this week. they are a very busy shop, and after getting phucked by champion, i lost just over 4 months, and had to get in line again! :( such is life. i am so pissed off, if i could sell my entire motor and not lose my a$$, I would in a heartbeat!!!!

I am retiring the Original block, it is .055 over, and i feel better stuffing everything into a 40 over block. I might bury the block in the back yard.... lol!!!

i purchased my gauges from Speedhut. they are out of Utah. the gauges are from their revolution line. i even customized the tach with a small graphic. I can wait to get my shit!!!!!! after 6 months of nothing happening! I am antsy as shit, i can't recall being this bored, and feeling like a caged lion.
