I was working on mounting the radiator last night and started looking into radiator hoses. I figured I would ask on here before I start hacking up hoses.
What hoses did you guys use? Part #s would be a plus
Thanks

Thanks but those are for the stock radiator in the stock position. I have a Griffin radiator stood up and those hoses will not work anymore

You could try the upper hose from a 95-02 blazer 4.3 it may need cut but the thing bends all over the place and is pretty long. Could make a nice replacement if you can't find a better option. Lower hose I don't have any suggestions. Would hoses from a B-body fit? I know they stood up but not sure the difference in distance.
Just a thought, hope it helps

I'll look into it, but I really think my only option is to get some universal flex hoses. The radiator fittings are bigger than the fittings on the water pump so I don't know if I have very many options. I might build one out of mandrel bent pipe and just use a rubber coupler, but that seems like a lot of work to make it look a little better when the hood is off

I don't wanna hear about looking good with the hood off, haha. I say mandrel bent with couplers would be awesome

HAHA well now its not just popping the hood if someone wants to see the engine. Now I have to undo 14 Dzus fasteners and lift the hood off, plus it's nothing special to look at. I prefer the function over form approach :)

Haha understandable. 7 down each side or any in the front? I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna mount mine. Think I'm gonna need some on the front...

I bought Racecraft LT1 rails for the sides and IIRC there are 5 fasteners on each side, then I just bought the LS1 Racecraft front rails for a thin hood. I'm planning on mounting those to a piece of aluminum angle that will be mounted to the headlight support bracket. So 5 fasteners on each side and 4 across the front. I will be starting on the rails either tomorrow or during the week after work so I'll get some pics :)

Just installed my Griffin over the weekend and I'm stuck on the hoses. I'd love to have a rigid setup, but that is getting more costly. I really dislike the look of the stainless flex hose. Looks like a dryer vent to me. However, you can get a 40" one with enough connectors to do both hoses for $50 on eBay.

Unfortunately, the auto part stores around me are worthless when it comes to anything non-standard. They couldn't help unless I told them what car I wanted radiator hoses from. Since they don't carry universal hoses, I went home and started scouring Summit. Looks like they have Goodyear flex hoses that may work -- PN: 52020 & 52423 (may be a bit long). There is a shorter one with a 1.5" ID on both ends (PN: 52416). You'd just need to get a reducer like this for both of them:
