Ok got a question for you B-Body guys. I was at the junkyard this past weekend and there is a Caprice with a manual cooling fan! It has a bracket that goes over the water pump and it just has a pulley with the fan mounted to it and runs a dual pulley on the crank for it.
Is this a rare option? I don't want the setup cuz I have e-fans but I figured if its rare ill pull it rather than have it crushed. Nothing else the crank pulley would be good for a supercharger lol. Just thought I'd ask before I get excited about nothing. Thanks in advance.

I guess it is kinda rare. If it was in a L99 or LT1 car/wagon it was prolly a 94. I think only the early 94's with a HD tow package had the crank fans. Don't quote me :) E fans are much better.

Well here it is. I didn't pull it cuz I wasn't feelin that up to it but I got pics. Runs off its own belt setup, thought that could be cool for a budget supercharger setup or something. Still wanna pull it but workin 6 days a week n busy the 7th with family I just feel kinda worn out when the suns heatin up the junkyard lol
