My pcm took a dump on me a while back, and a friend whom I think will be joining up here, allowed me to borrow his stock pcm from his 94 z28..its worked well...

Well he got a screaming deal on another Camaro and needs this pcm for turning and running at the track..cool...

Well I've tried getting a pcm from places, and they've all (4 attempts, 2 different places) failed... So I threw my hands up and decided I'd just get a stock replacement from jk Chevrolet down here.. Well after you buy the pcm 220$ after core, they want 160$ to program the pcm and install it... And they need the car...

Last time they had my car it came back out of fuel and I had a hole ripped in my y pipe... So not happening...

So... Who do you guys recommend.. All I need is a stock tune...I have a laptop and am ordering a cable from aldl...the cure t one I have is defective. A stock tune will get me fired up and moving..

I tried pcm's for less and I can't remember the other one... No more..

Thoughts??? Who do you guys trust :: thanx in advance

Everything in my signature is current and correct.. Except the tune on the pcm..

Did you buy anything yet?????
Before you do, I have a 94 PCM and a cable for an OBDI port if that's what you need. I'll make you a helleva deal on both. Also, my PCM already has the replacable chips in it. You can buy new ones from Ion for about $30 for all 4 if you fry them again. I also have an LT4 knock module in the box if you want it too. Package deal.
If you decide to get this, I can give you all the details about the current tune in it. You'll just have to figure out what you want to do with the color. The cases are currently purple. (wifes car)

BTW, the cable is a 9 pin serial on the cpu side. I never could get a USB adapter to work. But I'm computer illiterate too.

EDIT: Mine is from a 94 Impala but I don't think it should be a problem. Someone on here should be able to tell you.
