Hell we have an "Ass" and "Engine" pic thread. So why not gauges? LOL

But really, I was wanting some ideas for my gauges. I still have some gauges I need to buy and install. I'll post a pic of mine when I get a chance...... I'm thinking of removing the rest of my HVAC and using the heat/cooling control spot for a few.

So limited are spaces. Forget it if you have a bunch of 2-5/8 gauges laying around as I do lol. Would love to see what everyone has come up with as well :)

will get pic tomorrow, but I just moved mine off my pillar to the "cassette/CD" holder in the console with a 6LE 3 hole plate. I installed a rectangular digital Volt meter where the rear win defog switch used to be.

ya they have different color options. the one i got can be red or blue. And can set them up to be one color during day. And switch to other color at night when you turn on head lights. or one color constant with brightness control. And data logging output.

the 3 cost me 374.52 after shipping.

ok, I went out and got pics and found some parts I need.. woot !! love finding gasket sets and stuff sitting in a cabinet! Anyway I have an AEM wideband, Stewart Warner Fuel Pressure and a Autometer Oil Pressure. I am going to replace it with a black one asap. the digi volt gauge was off ebay for like 4 bucks.http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y136/TheKeenans/IMG_20130423_210252_221_zps3159c44a.jpg (http://s4.photobucket.com/user/TheKeenans/media/IMG_20130423_210252_221_zps3159c44a.jpg.html)http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y136/TheKeenans/IMG_20130423_210303_825_zps28c8f58e.jpg (http://s4.photobucket.com/user/TheKeenans/media/IMG_20130423_210303_825_zps28c8f58e.jpg.html)

That came out sweet :) I was trying (have actually yet) to modify a 2 hole 2-5/8" plate to go there. If I can get it to work, it WILL be tight and need some of the inside trimmed :(

They built a new site. And haven't got them listed yet. I had to call and order over the phone.

They are 24.99 each. I ordered 3 but they only had 2 in stock. So i am waiting on one more to come in from machine shop. They said they will have more next week though.

I'll have to snap some pics, but I have Glowshift gauges' 3 pod a-pillar with fuel pressure, vacuum pressure, and trans temperature. Then I also have a 6LE two gauge HVAC plate ( http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c362/markdelisle/Console%20Plates/100_3633.jpg ) with a LC-1 wideband gauge and I haven't filled the other hole yet. I'm debating on doing another wideband gauge so I can have driver and passenger side widebands or I might get a digital clock since I don't have a clock anywhere visible in the car.

I despise pillar pods. I have a Spa Techniques DG216 dual Boost/Fuel Pressure gauge mounted on the front plate panel in front of my shifter (97+ console conversion). Need to get a pic. Here's when I was putting everything together.

http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i177/Fastbird93/Purple%20Car/Build%20Pics/DSC_3670.jpg (http://s72.photobucket.com/user/Fastbird93/media/Purple%20Car/Build%20Pics/DSC_3670.jpg.html)

I figure I"ll do a 2 5/8 wide band and put it in an A/C Vent.

A/C vent is the cleanest method for Firebird owners. Otherwise the pillar would be my choice. Mounting a gauge where it's not easily viewable defeats the purpose to me unless it has a warning light of some kind.

The Firebird interior does give you mire options. But Im still having a hard time finding a location i like for the 2 1/16 shift light. Im like Fastbird, don't Like them on the pillar.

I think I'm gonna finish removing my hvac and place gauges where the controls are. The piller pods is about the only option for the Camaro. I like my gauges up high in view.

If you really want one I got more pieces of aluminum I can make you one. I will do it this weekend and send you pic. Also you may have to dress the wholes alittle for the gauge to fit perfect.

I bought a 6LE piece and the thing was 1/4" thick. No way was I going to put in a massive hunk of plastic like that in the car. Purchased some 1/16" plastic and had a buddy cut it out on his laser cutter and painted it to almost match.
