I'm thinking about ordering up some tail light covers for my Formula. Its black, so I think it would look pretty sick. BUT, on the otherhand.. I really like the looks of the 98-02 styled T/A tail lights. What should I do???

Heres what my Formula looks like right now.

I wish I had a pic at night with the lights on. You can see the brake light and turn signals just fine, plus the tail lights are fine. For like $50 they are fine. For $XXX.XX you can get them tinted, but if you get busted they don't peel off...

I only suggest you get velcro tape and use them to secure the covers. I went on a 6 hr drive one day from PA to VA Beach and one of them blew off... I bought them from Summit, and personally like them a lot!

To each his own.

I had tail light covers on mine, and it got so hot with the covers on that it made some cracks in the tail lights.. than water would get in them and it was really sucky... maybe just use VHT nightshades on them... I think that would be pretty cool, or just good a good set of the tail light covers.. the black on black looks awesome!

I didnt realize that the heat could crack the tail lights :face_shocked:. How long did you have them on before your tail Lights started to crack?

On mine I had them on for about 6 months, and than thats when I noticed the cracks, ..at the time I didnt realize it was tail light covers that cracked them, I bought a new set of tail lights and put the tail light covers back on , this time only one of them cracked after a few months I had figured it was the covers and I never put them back on, and since than my tail lights never cracked.. it was sucky when they would crack cuz water would get in them and make my bulb go out.
