So I'm shanghaied, heading to my sons house to swim with the grand kids and after cruising around most of the day, watching the gauges and being reassured that there very well could be life after death… and while passing through the bad-lands, on the main drag, down over by the courthouse, I see this black on black Chrysler 300 whipping around traffic and he eventually shoves himself into the inside lane, directly across from my outside position.

So… with the old Valentine One scanning for federales, promising that the coast was clear… I goose her a little to give dude a taste of what he can never have… as he's become lazy and comfortable in his finely appointed luxury-sport coupe. I take to the hole and the mysterious driver behind the dark tinted windows comes at me… (LOL! Truth be told traffic was wall to wall and I never got up over 60 in the 45… and was dead on the breaks after a quick roll and throttle up…, but… he's comin' nonetheless.) So we slow for the next light and he shifts to the inside, but in so doing gets locked back a car or so…

Well if you've ever played checkers with an old cracker, you'll know that we look for patterns on the board… and when we finds one… it can be hard on ya.

Now for whatever reason, there appeared a zig-zaggin' hole that went on for about 12 cars, which just opened up like the Dead Sea and I took Z-Hebrew on a High-torque blast to the 300 crushing promise land. Let me just add that my car is designed to go fast in a straight line and it's a rare day when you'll find her cutting through traffic like that, but the Z-Gods were shining on her today and C-300 dude wasn't seen again for 3 miles.

Good times… Great cars… You gotta love this country!

I love how descriptive you are! You should write the next fast and the furious, only make it about real cars lol. Overall sounds like an awesome kill, always nice to shut down people like that.

LOL! Thanks fellas… I appreciate the props.

With regard to the Northstar Caddy, in my sig, the car to the right of baby… is my Caddy… with a Northstar and let me assure ya… you could pull a small boat and still run her down. That is a LOT of car and while she's peppy for a land-yacht, she ain't gonna take down any Z hitting on all 8. But, in her defense, she'd gets ya down the road in substantially more comfort than any Z…

Ewwww…. Super Charger…

Ironically, the fastest C-300 I've ever seen was SC'd… Really was a nice rig. The guy was cutting low 7's down at our 1/8th mile track and I went over and invited him out and sure enough he came right on out and staged up. I took him by a car and a half and I noted that he didn't come through the time shack… So I went back down to the turn and found him on the side of the road. I pulled up counter-clockwise to him, my driver door at his Driver door, about 2-3' away.

After the customary "Nice run…" I noticed that the heat coming out from under his car was intense and told him he'd do himself a favor if he popped the lid and let that thing cool off and he informed that he needed to 'keep the build on the down low' and that he thought that he'd just blown the tranny; noting further that that particularly tranny was the third or fourth one (hard to recall now)…

I laughed and said: "Dude you're turning low 7s in a 4000lb luxury sprts coupe… I don't think you're fooling anyone, but if you need to burn it down to keep it a secret, that's fine with me, but if you don't want it to burn, you best pop that lid, cause that bitch is MIGHTY HOT!" He relented and popped the hood, where we found a lovely roots blower, sitting right there on top. Car was fast, that's for sure, but apparently the trannies aren't rigged for that kind of power.

Nice guy, but it hard to feel too sorry for a Mopar guy.
