I could... but again, I could do better saving my money and not going through the headache of bidding, buying..picking it up... repairing it, cleaning it and flipping it, all to maybe make 1k over what I have invested...(more like 500)

Don't let the mileage scare you. Mine has over 190K and I still drive it every day. It does burn and leak oil, but in all honesty, I would still drive it anywhere in the country.

With your resources, I wouldn't worry about any of the mechanical issues. You could probably do half of a build will spares that people have in their stash.

Most people will be put off by the shipping/transport. I say do it.

my budget is not what im considering here...its kinda like...i dont need it.... i dont have to have it...but for such a low starting price...how do i say no...lol.

i know when i start fixing..and painting...and accesorizing...i will get up.there in wasted investment...but i have an addiction to cars..esp ltx ones.


If the bids get HIGH...i wont be upset it passed me over. I just worry bout things like popped head gaskets...shit like that...

I would agree with the assessment of 1000-1200.

700r4s are easy to come by and cheap compared to their 4L60e counter parts. It looks like its in pretty good shape cosmetically so thats a bonus, id rather do motor work then body work any day. I know a guy up here in Allentown that does custom vinyls and is a BIG Camaro fanatic. He owns 7 of them including a few pace cars and a new ZL1 convertible among other things. I'm sure he would love to make some cool stuff for you and install it for you as well. I say get it, throw a cat back in it and do the vinyls and just enjoy it for awhile. If you end up going that rout let me know and I can get you in contact.

edit: just notice it was re-painted. It looks like it was done right, all the jambs and engine pays match however I would call them and check that its a clean title car and not salvaged or reconstructed. Thats a headache you don't want to get into for sure. Its missing a radio but lucky for you I have the old single din Clarion I use to have in my Trans Am (before I converted to double din) sitting in my bedroom closet. The buttons are worn, and 24-color adjustable display only work for about 12 colors, but it does work other wise and it was a good unit in its day (circa 2005). Its already got he wiring harness attached and you can have it. Yes have. Thats a few less bucks you need to invest. Cheers.

Thats wierd...it was actually 10 bucks higher last night. Either way there is an extra 75.00 that the dealer is charging at the time of sale. they write about it in the large disortation.

230,000 with a bad trans...1k was my top.
