It has a gm reman tag on it. And as pictured cast in the ds rear.

Came out of a 95 z28, transplanted from a 94 fbody

What I could find:
Couldn't read the bottom numbers in ur pic too well on my phone. "D" is April, then day, 1994. The "2" on the left side should be 2-bolt main, before it was converted if it does happen to be a 4-bolt main now.
GM 5.7LG SGI: Engine has cast into block “GM 5.7LG SGI . . . block is a 350/5.7Liter and SGI is the type of metal used in casting the block
Dxxx: “Block Casting Date” . . . D=April, xx=xxth day, 4= is last number in the year this block was cast and the “Block Casting Number shows this block was cast from 1986-94 so the number 4 tells this block was cast in 1994 or specifically on April xx, 1994.
