I have a complete take-out engine that I know little about other than I know it is cammed...I was told when I bought the car it was a 355 with stock heads and a lt4 hotcam, and it runs like I would expect that to....car has 140k miles on it....who knows on the motor or if it really is a 355. Also have the 4l60e that at least has a shift kit, shifts all gears very crisp. Last is a pink 3200ish stall don't know what brand, hopeing it is stamped with some type of identifying marks but don't have it pulled out yet . What would you guys consider fair market value for these items?

the pink converter is a precision industries vigilante stall call them with the numbers on the back they can tell you when it was made the stall speed and how many disks

Gonna be hard to sell without knowing the mileage, especially on the engine. Unless you're willing to be dishonest.

$900 on the motor assuming you have an tuned ECM to go with it. I'd add $50 for the harness if you are selling it.

$550 on the trans.

No idea on converter.

That's what I'd put them at anyway. I feel those are priced to sell and wouldn't hurt you. You could always start higher.

I was thinking of listing the motor as the miles on the car....wont be dishonest to sell a part

I think even with the mileage, it'd go for $900. Maybe not soon, but I think it would sell. I'd list it as 140K and "supposedly" gone through, but no proof. As long as the price reflects known mileage, I don't think it'd be an issue.

I hope you don't think I was trying to say you would. I'm sure you know just as well as I do there is a lot of BS floating around out there. Not necessarily here, but it seems rampant on Craiglist, Ebay, etc. Not saying you would or should, but you probably could if you lacked integrity. Wasn't trying to question yours by any means.
